A lot of us have become disappointed and upset previously with websites which claim to give free products and services on the Internet but the truth is they don’t do this. Is this the way that all cell phone lookups work?

Firstly let us understand what is meant by phone number lookup. If you receive a call from unrecognized number, you can use a reverse phone lookup to find out information on the caller This can definitely be very helpful in situations where you have lost touch with someone but still have a record of their phone number, or simply wish to verify who owns the number before calling mistakenly the wrong number. There are a lot of locations where you are able to get home and commercial cell phone lookups at no charge, including toll-free phone numbers.

However, there is a problem that comes up when you want to run a reverse lookup on a cell phone because the free directories do not have any such numbers. Likewise, information about fax numbers are not contained because such information is retained solely by carriers and telecommunication companies. Are these freely available records?

There are websites that claim to offer a large number of cell phone numbers but they are not free. Please consider the amount of work and money that goes into creating a lookup database, which is why there is a fee involved before you can access this information. However the amount charged is a one-off payment and with some websites you can access as many searches as you like once you get the permission to work on it, with others they charge you a single lookup for a lower fee. As per their claims the records include cell owner details, address, history, carrier details, and the status of the phone connection. Though most databases offered are different in a lot of ways the searches are guaranteed legal and confidential and usually include, cell phones cell, residential and business phones, toll-free calling and even pagers.

In addition to reverse lookups there are similar websites that offer access to information like background checks and background reports, people finder database, bankruptcies, licens, public records databases which include births, deaths, marriages, divorces and adoptions, sex offenders records, police records and even much more than this. Some websites offer access to certain information for one price but you shoud know that you will not be able to gain access to that information as part of you cell phone lookup membership.

I have seen websites that offer free cell phone lookups, but they invariably lead eventually to paid sites at the end, even allowing people where they can search for free but will not show the results unless you pay. Unfortunately you will probably only find reverse cell records in legitimate paid directories. To resume, cell phone lookups are not currently available. However if you really desire to access such records then I think paying a small fee is worth the results.
