Review of the T-Mobile Dash Phone by Cell2Get

T-Mobile Cell Phones models include the Dash Cell Phone. The Dash Cell Phone or HTC Excalibur is a great SmartPhone that is much smaller and sleeker than it would appear in photos. It isn’t a very photogenic phone, and the screen’s angled corner with the metal face make the DASH phone look rather odd and with a shape that resembles a pear. In spite of its appearance, you can be certain this SmartPhone is the hottest selling model in the United States at the present time. The phone has excellent durability and is sturdy enough to endure some serious abuse though it wouldn’t be a good idea to test that theory.

The keyboard on this phone is rather mediocre but it does include a new feature that is a real time saver. Instead of having to hold the alt key and dial another key to obtain an alternate character, you only have to hold down the appropriate key for a second and it the function you need appears. The phone is also MyFaves compatible for those T-Mobile customers who enjoy that feature. It is also WiFi compatible and has email capabilities. In reality it’s a rather sturdy and capable Smart Phone for the functions for which it is intended.

Also by purchasing this phone as an Unlocked Cell Phones you will be able to use it with any GSM carrier, even overseas. If you are wondering what an unlocked cell phone is, here is a quick explanation. Unlocked cell phones are GSM cell phones that use SIM cards. Each carrier that uses GSM has there own SIM card. Normally phones are locked into specific carriers, by buying them unlocked you can place any GSM SIM card into the phone and it should work.

Tips You Should Know About Internet Marketing

How SMS Works

SMS, or Short Message Service, is the technology behind what we often refer to as ‘text messages’ or ‘SMSes’, as well as what allows for news alerts on cellular phones. In recent years SMS has ballooned to over a 50 billion dollar industry and is quickly taking the communications world by storm.

Short Message Service actually refers to a framework that uniquely allows computers, or in this case phones, to communicate with each other without the need of a central hub. With SMS, phones can find each other, send short packets of information back and forth, and do it all without any central computer to guide them. But because the system does not rely upon fixed lines like a land based telephone system does, the amount of information that can be sent at one time is limited in size.

New developments in the technology have allowed for even longer messages to be sent. Long or Concatenated SMS is a development that allows multiple messages to be combined to form a single message. In effect, what happens is that your phone actually sends out a few smaller messages and then the receiving phone simply compiles those messages so that for users on both ends, it appears as though the message were cohesive. While there are some limitations, the brilliance behind SMS is that because there is no need for central hubs, and thus the system can be expanded indefinitely without any concerns of it slowing down or becoming more expensive.

The most common form of SMS is ‘texting’. Because many companies charge by the word, individuals have come up with a sort of ‘texting slang’ to cut down on the amount of words required to convey a particular message. For example, ‘gr8’ and ‘BTW’ mean ‘great’ and ‘by the way’. In addition, other words have just been shortened, such as ‘lata’ to mean ‘later’. Most users simply pick up the lingo through frequent use, and although some slang is widely understood and used, other shortcuts are developed within circles of friends and family.

The major advantage of SMS is its price. The price is typically $0.05 per message, a significant cut below that of traditional telephony and cell phone per-minute charges. The savings of SMS has its roots in the nature of the technology. Short Message Service, like SIP, is modeled on a peer to peer model and not a cog and wheel like traditional communication systems. This means that instead of having to route a message through a central hub, your text goes straight from you to its destination. This has radically cut down on the cost of SMS implementation and led to its overwhelming popularity throughout the world for marketing or other purposes.

Short Message Service (SMS) has radically changed the face of the communications industry – Internet marketing. While the practice has become quite common throughout the world, it has only recently become popular here in the United Stats, a growth partly predicated upon, surprisingly enough, its featured role in the show American Idol.

Lucky I Had iphone Insurance As Orange Drinks Do Not Mix

Saturday, September 20th, 2008

I was almost twenty minutes behind schedule, I had just used my iPhone to let my husband know that I wasn’t going to be able to meet him for dinner for another twenty minutes . Luckily for me, had had meet a old friend and was having a beer at the bar with them, so there was no rush , I tossed my iphone into the seat next to me and prepared to drive off. Ever since we’ve gotten iPhone Insurance uk, I’ve gotten a lot more confident about carrying my iphone with me and not worrying about accidentally damaging or loosing it. This was, of course, before I ran into a traffic jam that backed the traffic right up. I sat in my idling car, chewing my fingernails and finally called my husband again .

squash in the car cup container. I was just taking a sip when traffic started again and as I hurried to put it back in the holder, I managed to chuck it over my workout shirt, my towel and of course, my beloved iphone. For a second , all I could do was sit there and stare at it as the Orange drink had spread all over the place, and as I went to grab my iphone away, there was a loud and annoyed honking behind me to make me move again. It it seemed not to be my lucky day, but I ran into yet another traffic accident and ended up cooling my heels again. This time, keeping an eye on the traffic and making sure that I was going to be able to move at a moment’s notice, I removed the sticky iPhone from a very wet workout shirt, but a few moments later, the blue screen showed that I was going to have some serious problems calling ahead to let my husband know about yet another delay!

All in all, I was pretty dejected when I finally made it to the restaurant , he got on his own iphone and we immediately reported the damage to our iPhone Insurance provider. This is when the penny dropped that Phone Insurance was a wonderful thing. Not only was my embarrassing little incident covered under the iphone insurance, the claim itself was completed within 48 hours, letting me get on with my life – with my beloved iPhone (oh, and husband)! With the iphone insurance, I got everything taken care of extremely quickly and managed to come out on top of a very stick situation! All that I need to do now is get that orange smell out of my car…
